Students with excellent academic records who have difficulty paying tuition may, upon application and selection, be granted tuition exemption (full exemption or half exemption).
Hyogo Prefectural University and the University of Arts and Culture, Tourism offer a program that makes admission fees and tuition free for residents of Hyogo Prefecture. Eligibility requirements apply.

Scholarships
Students with excellent academic records and character, and who are facing financial difficulty, may be selected to receive a scholarship as either a grant or a loan.
The university currently handles three types of scholarship programs: those from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), those from local public entities, and those from private organizations.
